Gràinne & Andrew

This gorgeous couple said 'I do!' in the stunning location of Volterra, in the lush region of Tuscany, Italy at the end of April.

When Gràinne contacted me to enquire about my availability, I jumped at the opportunity!

A destination wedding is a dream come true for us bridal hairstylists and I would be working alongside my good friend and amazing make up artist, Jade Koemans, to help Gràinne and her girls with their preparations. I was beyond excited!!

The brief was soft romantic waves that would last the outdoor ceremony and a night of wild dancing!

Gràinne has long hair so we just enhanced this with some clip in extentions to give a little more length and volume, with the added benefit of holding the waves for longer.

At her trial we played with twisting some hair back and adding some braids but as her veil had pearl details and a cute bow, we decided that less detail in her hair would work best. The loose waves provided a softness that complimented the gorgeous silhouette of her figure hugging bridal gown.

Her bridesmaids opted for dreamy, loosely pinned chignons that work well on long hair in any colour, and complimented Gràinne's style perfectly.

It was a blessing to be part of this beautiful day and I wish this cute couple all the best!
