Hey and welcome to my space!
I'm Louise and I've been hairdressing since I learned to braid hair at around 6 years old. Some of my happiest memories are of helping my mum and aunties do each others hair in our kitchen. The smell of perm lotion takes me back there every time! The sharing stories, the tears, the laughter, witnessing how the simple act of tending to another through their hair is so powerful.
I was hooked and my life has been dedicated to learning my craft since.
From an assistant training in a huge salon in the city, to salon stylist, art team member, freelancer, agency stylist, salon director, educator and colour specialist, it's been a journey! But of all the avenues that hairdressing has taken me, working with my clients in my studio in Glasgow is where my heart lies.
I love lived in, natural hair colouring, blending and enhancing my client's natural hair for a seamless grow out with no commitment. That's what I'm best known for thesedays. That and effortless hairup styles.
I love our planet and realise the impact my industry has on her so I use vegan and eco friendly products and I am a proud member of the Green Salon Collective who recycle and reuse salon waste.

Cutting
There is nothing quite like the feeling of a fresh haircut. As Coco Chanel once said, " A woman who cuts her hair is about to change her life." She clearly knew the power of a good haircut.
I have 24 years experience in cutting hair and have learned from the best in the industry. I love scissor work, there's nothing quite like a precise bob, but recently I'm enjoying razor cutting and working with your natural texture to achieve that 'lived in' style. I will always chat with you first about your hair goals and help you choose what works best with your budget, time and ability to make sure your hair looks and feels great.
Colouring
Colouring is my real passion. I geek out on the chemistry of colour and I'm pretty obsessed with lightening hair and blending greys. I am a certified Colour Specialist and I have corrected countless client's hair over the years. I use a hybrid of techniques including balayage, strandlights, teasy lights, colourmelting, zone toning to name a few, and I continually educate myself to achieve the best results for my clients. I avoid harsh chemicals by using ammonia free and low PPD and Resorcinol hair colour and ensure my products are vegan and eco-friendly. All clients are colour patch tested and a full consultation and hair analysis is provided so that I can work with you to create your dream colour.
Education
When it comes to education, I make it my aim to keep it realistic and client friendly for my students. I offer bridal styling and colouring workshops in my studio in Glasgow. Whether you are looking for a 1-1 session or you’re thinking of a bigger project, you can expect professionalism and care. Bridal
Bridal hair styling has been such a huge part of my career. I have been blessed to travel the country and visit the most beautiful venues to deliver a bespoke service to my brides and their parties and I have worked on many bridal publications including The Scottish Wedding Directory and Tie The Knot. I love working with my brides to create their perfect wedding style.
